Reflection Of My Learning Style

The results of the vark questionnaire showed that I was a reading type of learner. Someone that can read from textbooks and be able to learn and understand the text. This did not come as a surprise, most of my life I have been reading, everything I can get my hands on. It's a passion of mine, so when it comes down to learning my learning style, is by reading. Just like the results of my questionnaire.
Seeing as I am now at University, I should work on visual/listening learning. Watching powerpoints and listening to someone talk, is hard for me. I would rather sit with a huge textbook, but I have found ways to get around this. As powerpoints are now a popular teaching method.
I find the powerpoints on the internet, but also jot down many notes from the lecture sessions and reflect on them and then I go to a library to find any books, for further reading.

  1. A good reflection on the VARK questionnaire. You are quite aware of your learning style and your weakness in listening and visual cues.
Try to include diagrams and images into your work if just to underpin what you are saying in text.
